A very unusual Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver tea caddy box, having a plain U-shaped body with straight sides, a hinged lid with crescent shaped tea caddy spoon rest, a gold-gilt interior, and sitting on four cast scroll feet, together with a matching Old English pattern tea caddy spoon. Made by William Aitken of Birmingham in 1904 (the spoon made by Henry Atkins of Sheffield in 1918). The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver tea caddy box are height 7 cms (2.75 inches), length 9 cms (3.5 inches), width 6 cms (2.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 191g (6 troy ounces).
