A very handsome Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver half-pint tankard, in an early George I style, having a plain round straight-sided body with tapering sides, a plain scroll side-handle, and all sitting on a collet foot. This elegant silver half-pint mug was made by Thomas Atkins of Birmingham in 1909. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tankard are height 9.5 cms (3.75 inches), diameter at top 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 174g (5.6 troy ounces).
