An Antique Georgian Sterling Silver lidded quart tankard, having a plain round straight-sided body, a hinged dome lid with cast scroll thumb-piece, a scroll handle with heart-shaped terminal, and sitting on a collet foot. Made by William Shaw & William Priest of London in 1758. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver tankard are height 16.5 cms (6.75 inches), length 16.5 cms (6.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 620g (20 troy ounces).
