A very handsome George I style Sterling Silver half-pint tankard, having a plain round straight-sided body with tapering sides, a scroll side-handle, and all sitting on a collet foot. This elegant silver half-pint mug was made by S. Blanckensee and Sons of Birmingham in 1935. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tankard are height 11 cms (4.3 inches), diameter at top 7 cms (2.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 175g (5.6 troy ounces).
