A very handsome pair of Sterling Silver sugar casters in a George II style, having plain round baluster bodies, pull-off hand-pierced lids with urn finials, and sitting on pedestal feet, all in their original cream satin and black velvet-lined presentation box. Made by B. Streete and Co., of Birmingham in 1930. The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made silver sugar casters are height 14 cms (5.5 inches), width 5 cms (2 inches), with a total weight of approx. 178g (5.7 troy ounces). Please note that silk retainer hinge of the box is damaged.
