An Antique Sterling Silver sugar bowl, in a Georgian style, having a round bellied body, with unusual applied cut-card work and a gadroon border, two scroll side-handles, and all sitting on a pedestal foot. Made by Alexander Clarke & Co., of Birmingham 1913. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver sugar bowl are height 7 cms (2.75 inches), spread across handles 15 cms (6 inches), and it weighs approx. 233g (7.5 troy ounces). |
