A very handsome and heavy Antique Georgian Sterling Silver soup ladle in the double-struck Kings Hourglass pattern, having a hand-chased shell and hour-glass on the handle, and a plain oval bowl with a shell on the reverse. Made by William Eley of London in 1828. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver soup ladle are length 33 cms (13 inches), and it weighs approx. 270g (8.7 troy ounces). |
