Antique Victorian silver plated sardine dish, having a rectangular body with rounded corners, a cut-crystal liner sitting in a frame which has chased ivy-work, a lift-off lid with cast conch shell finial, a floral swing handle, and all sitting on four cast foliate feet. Made by Walker and Hall of Sheffield in ca. 1880. The dimenions of this fine hand-made silver-plated sardine dish are length 14 cms (5.5 inches), width 12 cms (4.75 inches), and height (excluding handles) 8 cms (3 inches).

A very handsome Antique Victorian Silver Plated sardine dish, having a rectangular body with rounded corners, a cut-crystal liner sitting in a frame attached to an Oak wooden base with four ball feet, a lift-off lid with cast crossed sardines above hand-engraved floral decoration. Made in ca. 1890. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated sardine dish are length 18 cms (7 inches), width 15 cms (6 inches), and height 10 cms (4 inches).

An Antique Victorian Silver Plated and fine China sardine dish, having a rectangular bone China body with hand-painted gold, blue, and orange scroll and floral decoration, all sitting in a plain wire-work galleried frame, a lift-off lid with cast conch shell finial, a plain handle, and all sitting on four wire-work feet, and with a pair of antique silver-plated sardine server tongs in the Kings pattern. The sardine dish made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield in ca. 1890. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated and bone China sardine dish are length 14 cms (5.5 inches), width 12 cms (4.75 inches), and height (excluding handles) 7 cms (2.75 inches).
