Antique Victorian sterling silver salver, having a plain ground, with an applied hand-chased and pierced border with neoclassical design showing swags, urns, portraits, and a wave-style border, and all sitting on three cast and scroll feet. Made by John Figg of London in 1873. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver salver are diameter 18 cms (7 inches), and it weighs approx. 244g (7.8 troy ounces). |
