A very pretty Antique Victorian Sterling Silver large salver, having an applied double bead-edged border, with a ground having hand-engraved ferns and song-bird decoration surrounding a central vacant round cartouche, and all sitting on four cast claw and ball feet. Made by Johnson, Walker, and Tolhurst of London in 1881. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver salver are diameter 38 cms (15 inches), and it weighs approx. 1,615g (52 troy ounces). |
