A beautiful Antique early Victorian Sterling Silver salver, having an applied cast shell and scroll border, the ground having hand-chased floral and scroll decoration surrounding a central vacant cartouche, and all sitting on three cast and pierced scroll feet. This fantastic salver was made by the most important 19th century British silversmith Paul Storr of London in 1838. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver salver are diameter 32 cms (12.3 inches), height 4 cms (1.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 1,006g (32.5 troy ounces).
