A very pretty pair of Antique Victorian Sterling Silver cauldron salt cellars, having round bellied bodies with hand-chased floral and scroll decoration, with applied rope-twist borders, blue glass liners, and sitting on three cast hoof feet. These beautiful antique silver salt cellars were made by Francis Dexter of London in 1847. The dimensions of these fine hand-made antique silver salt cellars are diameter 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), height 4 cms (1.5 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 151g (4.9 troy ounces).
