A large and very handsome Scottish Sterling Silver Quaich, having a very plain round body with hand-hammered decoration, with two cast side handles, and sitting on a pedestal foot. This elegant silver Quaich was made by Robert Sawyers of Edinburgh in 1932, and is a replica of an early Charles I Quaich from 1626. The dimensions of this fine hand-made Scottish Silver Quaich are diameter of body 15 cms (6 inches), height 5 cms (2 inches), and it weighs approx. 314g (10 troy ounces). |
