A Sterling Silver large Scottish quaich (being a replica of a Charles I example dated 1626), having a very plain round body with hand-hammered finish, with two side handles, and sitting on a collet foot. Made by Robert Sawers of Edinburgh in 1926. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver quaich are diameter of body 15 cms (6 inches), height 5 cms (2 inches), and it weighs approx. 310g (10 troy ounces). |
