A rare and very handsome Antique Sterling Silver double hinged portrait photograph frame, having two frames with double egg and dart borders and pinned edges, with a unique double hinge mechanism that allows the photos to be shown either inwards or outwards, and with original brown wood-backed frames. Made by the Deakin Brothers of Sheffield in 1919. The internal dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver double hinged photo frame are height 13 cms (5 inches), and width 9 cms (3.5 inches).
