A very handsome Antique Georgian George I Sterling Silver heavy pepper pot caster, having a plain bellied body with applied and hand-chased reeded borders, a pull-off hand-pierced lid with cast finial, all sitting on a stepped pedestal foot. Made by Samuel Welder of London in 1725. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver pepper caster pot are height 16 cms (6.25 inches), width 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 185g (6 troy ounces).
