Antique Georgian sterling silver pepper pot, having a plain baluster body with an applied gadroon border, a hand-pierced pull-off lid with swirl finial, and sitting on a pedestal foot. Made by John Delmester of London in 1765. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver pepper pot are height 11.5 cms (4.5 inches), diameter of main body 4.5 cms (1.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 72g (2.3 troy ounces).
