A very handsome Antique Georgian George III Sterling Silver pepper pot, having a baluster body with hand-chased fluted and floral decoration, applied rope-twist borders, a hand-pierced pull-off lid with urn finial, and sitting on a pedestal foot. Made by William Turton of London in 1777. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver pepper pot are height 15 cms (6 inches), diameter of main body 6 cms (2.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 142g (4.6 troy ounces).
