Antique Georgian sterling silver pepper pot, having a plain baluster body, a hand-pierced pull-off lid with finial, and sitting on a pedestal foot. Made by Thomas Bamford I of London in 1736. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver pepper pot are height 13.5 cms (5.3 inches), diameter of main body 4.5 cms (1.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 101g (3.3 troy ounces). |
