Antique Georgian sterling silver pepper pot, having a plain baluster body, a hand-pierced pull-off lid with urn-shaped finial, and sitting on a pedestal foot. Made by Samuel Woods of London in 1747. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver pepper pot are height 15 cms (6 inches), diameter of main body 6 cms (2.3 inches), and it weighs approx. 148g (4.8 troy ounces). Please note that this item is crested. |
