Antique Victorian sterling silver and hand-cut crystal pepper grinder, having a round body with hobnail-cut pattern, plain round mounts top and bottom, an opening for adding the pepper corns that is revealed by twisting the top mount, a side-winding grinder arm with ivory finial, and an original Peugeot grinding mechanism. Made in Birmingham in 1898. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver and crystal pepper grinder are height 9 cms (3.5 inches), and diameter at base 6.5 cms (2.5 inches).
