An Antique Victorian Sterling Silver travelling Necessaire, having two cologne bottles, two large bottles, two small bottles, a hair brush, two clothes brushes, an inkwell, a shaving brush, a soap box, a folding desk mirror, and internal space for letters, pens, and jewellery, all fitted in an original maroon velvet-lined oak box with brass fittings. All silver items have engine-turned decoration with central cartouches that are crested, and are made by Thomas Johnson of London in 1862. The dimensions of the solid oak box are 30.5 cms (12 inches), height 14 cms (5.5 inches), and width 24 cms (9.5 inches). Please note that the box is slightly damaged, but otherwise in excellent condition. All silver and crystal items are original with full matching hallmarks.
