A very handsome Antique Georgian Sterling Silver mustard pot, having a plain oval straight-sided body, with applied reeded borders, a hinged domed lid with hand-pierced thumb-piece, a scroll side-handle, a blue-glass liner, and sitting on a flat base. Made by Peter and Anne Bateman of London in 1792. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver mustard pot are length 10 cms (4 inches), height 7.5 cms (3 inches), and it weighs approx. 106g (3.4 troy ounces).
