Antique Georgian sterling silver mustard pot, having an oval body with straight sides, with hand-pierced and engraved floral decoration, a hinged and domed lid with finial, a scroll handle, a blue glass liner, and all sitting on a flat base. Made by Joseph Preedy of London in 1793. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver mustard pot are height 6 cms (2.3 inches), length 11 cms (4.3 inches), width 5 cms (2 inches), and it weighs approx. 83g (2.7 troy ounces).
