Antique Georgian sterling silver mustard pot, having a plain oval baluster body, a hinged domed lid with thumb-piece and ball finial, with applied reeded borders, a reeded scroll handle, a blue glass liner, all sitting on a flat base. Made by John Gold of London in 1801. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver mustard pot are height 8 cms (3 inches), length 11 cms (4.25 inches), width 6 cms (2.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 115g (3.7 troy ounces). |
