A very handsome and large Scottish Sterling Silver mustard pot, having a plain oval body with slightly curved sides, with applied reeded borders, a domed lid with an urn-shaped finial, a scroll side-handle with plain oval thumb-piece, and a fitted blue glass liner. Made by Robert Sawers Ltd of Edinburgh in 1936. The dimensions of this fine hand-made Scottish silver mustard pot are height 8.5 cms (3.3 inches), length 8 cms (3 inches), depth (inc. handle) 8 cms (3 inches), and it weighs approx. 108g (3.5 troy ounces).
