Antique Georgian Regency sterling silver mustard pot, having a round body with hand-chased fluted straight sides, a gadroon-edged border, a hinged lid with shell thumb-piece, a blue glass liner and scroll handle, all sitting on a flat base. Made by Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard of London in 1817. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver mustard pot are height 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), diameter 7 cms (2.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 146g (4.7 troy ounces). |
