Antique Georgian Old Sheffield plated meat cover dome and platter, having a plain oval body with Regency style gadroon and fluted border, a cast oak-leaf handle, and all sitting on a well and tree dish for carving, having a hot water jacket, and with matching decoration. Both pieces made in ca. 1815 and matched together. The dimensions of this fine hand-made Old Sheffield plated meat cover dome and plate are length (inc. handles) 71cm (28 inches), width 44.5 cms (17.5 inches), and height 36 cms (14 inches).
