A very stylish Silver-Plated letter or envelope opener, having a very plain straight-sided blade with tapering point, attached to a heavy round handle with one side having a hand-chased schooner ship, and the reverse with a view of the Kuwaiti water towers. Made by Christofle of Paris, France, in circa. 1980. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver plated envelope or letter opener are length 22 cms (8.6 inches), and diameter of handle 5 cms (2 inches). |
