Antique Victorian sterling silver kettle on a burner stand in an early George I style, having a very plain round body, with wooden insulated scroll handle, a plain spout, a hinged lid with invisible hinge and wooden finial, and all sitting on a frame with original burner and securing pins with chains. All made by Thomas and Walter Slater of London in 1895. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver kettle are height 32 cms (12.5 inches), length 21 cms (8.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 1,178g (38 troy ounces).
