A very handsome Antique Victorian Sterling Silver tea kettle on a burner stand, having a plain round bellied body with an applied gadroon border, a lift-off lid with wooden finial, a leather covered hinged handle, and sitting on an original burner stand with removable central wick and three cast shell feet. Made by Joshua Vander of London in 1893. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver kettle are length 21 cms (8.25 inches), height 27.5 cms (10.75 inches), width 18 cms (7 inches), and the total weight is approx. 770g (24.8 troy ounces).
