Sterling silver tea kettle on a burner stand, having a very plain oval straight-sided body, with hinged lid, insulated wooden handle and finial, and sitting on an original burner stand with four scroll feet. Made by Daniel and Arter of Birmingham in 1917. The dimensions of this fine silver kettle are length 23 cms (9 inches), height 26 cms (10.25 inches), width 15 cms (6 inches), and the total weight is approx. 1,085g (35 troy ounces).
