Antique Georgian sterling silver jardinière / epergne, having an oval body with hand-cut crystal bowl, sitting in a cast and hand-chased floral frame, all standing on four lions-paw feet. Made by Pitts & Preedy of London in 1798. The dimensions of this fine hand-made jardinière / epergne are length 28 cms (11 inches), width 19.5 cms (7.75 inches), height 21 cms (8.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 1,118g (36 troy ounces).
