A very stylish Art Deco Sterling Silver and hand-cut crystal inkstand paper weight, having a square body, a plain square mount with a flat-topped hinged lid and engine-turned border, together with a removable glass liner, and all sitting on a flat-cut plain base. This handsome Art Deco inkstand was made by Deakin and Francis of Birmingham in 1933. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver and crystal inkstand are height 5 cms (2 inches), and 7.5 cms (3 inches) square.
