A very handsome and unusual Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver and hand-cut crystal combination inkstand paper weight and clock, having a square body with chamfered upper edges, a plain round mount and a domed hinged lid with hand-engraved floral decoration, the lid enclosing a very fine wind-up clock with black Roman numerals and a white face, all sitting on a flat base with a hand-cut hobnail pattern. Made by Henry Matthews of Birmingham in 1905. The dimensions of this fine antique silver and crystal combination inkstand and clock are height 10 cms (4 inches), and 10 cms (4 inches) square.
