A very handsome Arts and Crafts style Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver and crystal honey, jam, or conserve jar, having a plain rectangular body with tapering sides and star-cut base, a plain rectangular mount, with a mechanical swing-handled hinged lid and a slot for a conserve spoon. Made by Heath and Middleton of Birmingham in 1906. The dimensions of this fine hand-made Arts and Crafts silver and crystal conserve, jam, or honey jar are height (inc. handle) 14.5 cms (5.25 inches), width 9 cms (3.5 inches), and depth 6.5 cms (2.5 inches).
