An Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver and mother-of-pearl handled fruit set for twelve people. Having straight-sided rounded-end blade knives, and four-prong forks, with hand-engraved floral decoration, and reed-work ferrules, all fitted into an original presentation box with dark blue velvet interior. Made by George Hancock of Sheffield in 1908. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver fruit service are length of knife 19 cms (7.5 inches), and the length of the fork 15 cms (6 inches).
