A very elegant Sterling Silver and mother-of-pearl handled fruit set for twelve people. Having plain straight-sided pointed-end blade knives, and three-prong forks. All fitted into an original presentation box with cream satin and black velvet-lined interior. This handsome silver and mother-of-pearl fruit eating set was made by Charles James Allen of Sheffield in 1935. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver fruit service are length of knife 15 cms (6 inches), and the length of the fork 13.5 cms (5.3 inches).
