A very handsome Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver fish service set for twelve people, in the plain Hanoverian pattern, with four-prong forks and flat symmetrical bladed knives, fitted into their original dark blue velvet-lined oak presentation box. All made by Mappin and Webb of Sheffield in 1909. The dimensions of these fine hand-made antique silver fish-eaters are length of knife 20 cms (8 inches), and fork 17 cms (6.75 inches), with a total weight of approx. 1,310g (42 troy ounces). Please note that the small brass plaque on top of the boxes lid is missing.
