Antique early Victorian sterling silver fish serving knife and fork set, having filled handles in the double-struck Kings pattern, hand-pierced and hand-engraved blade and tines with floral and leaf decoration, the blade with a cartouche engraved with a lady holding a tray of fish. Made by Francis Higgins of London in 1849. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver fish serving set are length of knife 33 cms (13 inches), and length of fork 24 cms (9.5 inches). Please note that the handles have a number of small dents, but are otherwise in very good condition.
