A beautiful and impressive Scottish Antique Victorian Sterling Silver epergne centre-piece, having a top bowl with hand-chased floral, scroll and figural decoration, above a central area consisting of three separate cast caryatid female figures, all sitting on a triangular plinth with tapering sides and applied figural and scroll motifs. This wonderful antique silver centrepiece epergne was made by Marshall and Sons of Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1837. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver centre-piece are height 47.5 cms (18.75 cms), diameter of bowl 28 cms (11 inches), and it weighs approx. 3,680g (118.7 troy ounces).
