Sterling silver hand-pierced epergne, having four removable dishes, with one larger central dish, and three smaller dishes, all hand-pierced with applied shell and floral borders, sat in a wire-work frame on a spreading base with six ball feet. Made by Charles Widmer & Sons of Birmingham in 1912. Height 31 cms (12.25 inches), width 39.5 cms (15.5 inches). Total weight approx. 1,997g (64.4 troy ounces). |
