An Art Deco Sterling Silver table centrepiece or epergne, with hand-pierced geometrical style borders and Art Deco motifs, having one central flower vase, and two removable dishes resting on side arms, and all sitting on a pedestal base with four flanged feet. Made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield in 1934. The dimensions of this fine hand-made Art Deco style epergne or center-piece are height 33 cms (13 inches), width across arms 41 cms (16 inches), depth 16 cms (6.3 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 1,309 (42 troy ounces). |
