A very handsome and heavy pair of Antique Georgian Sterling Silver entree dishes with covers, having rectangular bodies with rounded corners and applied gadroon borders, cast screw-fit removable asparagus style loop handles, and sitting on flat bases. Made by Robert Garrard of London in 1803. The dimensions of this pair of fine hand-made antique silver entree dishes and covers are length 28.5 cms (11.25 inches), height including handle 12 cms (4.75 inches), width 22 cms (8.75 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 3,220g (104 troy ounces). Please note that these items are crested. |
