A handsome pair of Antique Georgian Sterling Silver entree dishes with covers, having rectangular bodies with rounded corners and applied gadroon borders, cast bayonet-fit removable asparagus style loop handles, and sitting on flat bases. Made by Richard Crossley of London in 1811. The dimensions of this pair of fine hand-made antique silver entree dishes and covers are length 29 cms (11.5 inches), height including handle 14 cms (5.5 inches), width 21 cms (8.25 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 2,808g (90 troy ounces). |
