An Antique Georgian Sterling Silver pair of entree or hash dishes with covers, having oval bodies with applied bead-edged borders and cast loop side-handles, with plain domed lift-off covers having removable cast bead handles, and all sitting on flat bases. Made by Henry Green of London in 1790. The dimensions of this pair of fine hand-made antique silver entree dishes and covers are length 38 cms (15 inches), width 21.5 cms (8.5 inches), height including cover handle 11 cms (4.3 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 2,077g (67 troy ounces). Please note that both the bases and covers are crested. |
