A large and handsome Antique Victorian Sterling Silver altar chalice, having a round straight-sided body with tucked under belly, an applied reeded top border, a gold-gilt interior, a middle baluster with fluted cabochon decoration, and a spreading round stepped pedestal foot. This beautiful silver chalice was made by Henry Holland of London in 1871. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver altar chalice are height 23.5 cms (9.25 inches), diameter at lip 11 cms (4.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 382g (12.3 troy ounces). Please note that this has a classically engraved Christogram within sunburst on main body.
