A Sterling Silver altar chalice and paten, having a round tapering cup with gold-gilt interior, a middle baluster with hand-chased floral work made to look as if mounted with six jewels, and a spreading hexa-foil foot, with applied rope-twist borders, together with a matching gold-gilt plain round paten. The chalice made in London in 1965, and the paten made in Dublin in 1941. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver chalice & paten are height 21 cms (8 inches), width at base 14 cms (5.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 620g (20 troy ounces).
