Sterling silver Ciborium, having a plain round body, sitting on a hexafoil base with hand-chased grape-vine border, a lift-off lid with crucifix finial, and gold-gilt interior. Made by Francis Tucker and Co. Ltd., of London in 1940. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver ciborium are height 22 cms (8.75 inches), diameter 12 cms (5 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 618g (20 troy ounces). |
