A very handsome Antique early Victorian Sterling Silver offertory or alms dish, having a round body, with an applied reeded border, a hand-engraved ground with sun-burst work surrounding a central Christogram, and all sitting on a flat base. This elegant antique silver alms or offertory dish was made by Henry Wilkinson of Sheffield in 1839. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver offertory dish are diameter 23 cms (9 inches), and it weighs approx. 475g (15.3 troy ounces).
